Study On The Financing Of Small Towns

With the development of rural economy and implementation of "Small towns, Big strategies" policy, small cities and towns in our country are now developing at full speed. However, fund has always been a big barrier in the process and financing is becoming a hot issue to those who concern in this field.Based on a systematic analysis of previous researches and studies, this paper firstly summarized and commented on the concepts and basic theories of small towns and financing, as well as modern financing ways. With the institutional changes of financing as a thread and the current situations of small cities and towns taken into consideration, the paper pointed out some problems existing in the financing process. Then the author established some financing modes, and at the same time compared different situations in our country, thus providing a sound theoretical foundation of setting up multi-way financing system. In the end, measures of financing were brought out from different aspects, such as making use of folk capital, categorizing financing ways and facilitative functions of governments. This paper will be sure of somepractical value to the development of some towns.
