Founding And Increasing The Core Capability Of Tang Steel

Since China joined WTO, there have been tremendous changes in the field ofiron-steel. On the one hand, overseas world-class enterprise enter China market by thethousands, on the other hand, the internal iron-steel industries also develop rapidly. Inorder to survive and develop in such hard competition circumstance, Tang Shan Iron& Steel Group Liability Co., LTD (Tang Steel) should improve its technology, adjustits product structure, and step up the core capability.The purpose of this thesis is to study founding and increasing the core capabilityof Tang Steel. Firstly, the Tang Steel development condition, and then discuss thesources of iron-steel enterprise capabilities are analyzed. Furthermore, the concept ofthe iron-steel enterprise core capability is provided. By analyzing the characteristicand function of core capability, the thesis point out how core capability could helpenterprises improve their competition ability, get extra income, develop continuouslyand adapt to the changing environment. Secondly, by researching the developing trendof abroad iron-steel industry and the reason of domestic iron-steel industry increasingin high speed, the 3-pole-support development strategy is proposed. Thirdly, itpredicts the future development scale with the time series forecast model. In order toinsure Tang Steel entering the top rank of the world iron-steel industry, at the end ofthe thesis, some suggestions for founding and increasing Tang Steel core capabilityare given.
