Nowadays, internationalization has already been the leading trend of theinternational retail industry. Internationalization is the important means for retailenterprise to optimize its resource allocation and boost its international competitivepower, also it is the main path to realize large- scale management. Based on Chinesepromises for WTO, at Dec. 2004 our retail market was opened. Chinese retailers aremeeting both rigorous challenges and great opportunities. What willinternationalization bring to our retail enterprises? Whether should Chinese retailers"walk out"? What kind of international stratagem shall Chinese retailers chose?Grounding on the international retail industry developing tendency and thecharacteristics and actuality of Chinese retail industry, this article pointed out themotivation of the internationalization. Through Porter's theory of "The CompetitiveAdvantage of Nations", With the data about Chinese market demand status, relatedindustries development, enterprise stratagem and organization and factor ofproduction, the article carried on the feasibility analysis of internationalizationmanagement of Chinese retail enterprises, also put forward some proposals on it.
