The Regional Difference And Its Cause Of Formation On Listed Company

Listed companies play an important role in economic life as outstanding representatives of enterprises in China. However, the regional differences of listed companies' development, is not only against their own development, but also affected the local economic development. It is necessary to explore the causes of the regional differences in development of listed companies. The article mainly analyzes these causes of regional differences in listed companies, explores some irrational factors of them, and reforms and promotes them with some effective practical measures, in order to make healthy development of listed companies, to advance economic development and narrow the economic gap among districts.Listed companies are outstanding enterprises, and have been developing rapidly since the establishment of the securities market. The number of listed companies has reached more than 1,300. However, listed companies in various regions make big differences. The country is divided into three major districts (including the east district, the middle district and the west district). This article analyzes the size differences, industry disparity differences, the efficiency differences of listed companies in three major districts. It is the results of big differences in the size, industry disparity, the efficiency of listed companies in various districts. The mainly difference is ones between listed companies in the east district and these in the middle district, the west district. The article analyzes the causes of regional differences in listed companies, and it comes to the results that position distribution, the level of economic development, economic regime, industry structure, the system of securities market related with the development of listed companies. Furthermore the root of difference between listed companies in various districts is defect of the economic system. The article analyzes the influencing factors to differences in listed companies in various districts and performs a regression analysis based on the data of listed companies of 31 provinces and cities and econometrical methods. The article gets whole strength of listed company in a province with principle analysis methods, and calculates the correlation coefficient between whole strength of listed company in a province and the level of economic development there, and it comes to the results that they have positive correlation and listed companies are influenced by the level of economic development. The difference between this article's studying and similarstudies in and abroad is that it analyzes these causes of regional differences in listed companies, exploring further some irrational factors of them, and finding the root of difference between listed companies in various districts.
