Early-Warning System On Performance Crises Of Contractors In Construction Management Of Expressways

In construction management of expressways, the contractor to the control goal of the project progress, the project costs and the project quality is playing a very important role. The construction cycle of expressways is long, the expressways construction invests in a big way, many construction companies and construction personnel participate in the construction expressways, the owner manages the contractor has decided the expressway quality and the progress.This paper put forward a new method to solve the problems of performance crises of contractors in construction management of expressways. The administrator can early discover performance crises of contractors. The performance crises of contractors can be found by this method. The method is early warning. We study the construction project crises theory, we can have a conclusion the indexes that can response the operation of contractors conditions in expressways construction, these indexes are early-warning indexes can be used and early-warning intensity are divided 5 grade that is worst, misses, medium, good and normal in this paper.The artificial neural networks have good processing non-linear ability, the non-linear relations of the input variable and output variable can be established through the artificial neural networks from the learning capability, Use the artificial neural networks achievement to solve the performance crises of contractors are extremely appropriate. Early-warning indexes and early-warning intensities are given in this paper;an early-warning model based on the BP artificial neural network is established. Using the MATLAB software in neural network toolbox simulates this early warning model. The network can be established by use the sample data training. The network has the good ability to distinction the unknown sample. Determine the parameters of the network by use the MATLAB software, for independent development expressways performance crises of contractors' early-warning system.According to the early-warning indexes of the expressways construction to performance crises of contractors to gather 4 groups of contractors present performance data, use the early warning system analyzed these 4 groups of data, obtains the contractor present performance results. The results of the system compared with the results of the owner and the general inspector manage to the contractor basically to be consistent actually.The early-warning model can distinguish the known sample data completely. After the preliminary use, the early-warning model can accurate distinguish almost the unknown sample data. Early-warning system developed by use Delphi software. This system may distinguish completely similarly to the known sample data, is high rate of accuracy to the unknown sample.
