| The case of Xiamen Airlines Ltd. is recommended by China Corporation Union andorganized by Case Center of School of Economics & Management, TsinghuaUniversity.In the report, we represent the scientific management practice of Xiamen Airlines Ltd.,and analyze its forming, characteristics, potential problems and solution.The report consists of two parts, case section and case analyzing section.In case section, we introduce Xiamen Airlines Ltd. background, and mainly describescientific management practice about fly management, safety management, financemanagement, quality management, and human resource management as well ascorporation culture. We also show the results of the scientific management.In case analyzing section, firstly we analyze the macro environment for airlinetransportation industry, then summarize this industry characteristic, and get the keysuccess factors for this industry. Further, we analyze the strengths, weaknesses,opportunities and threats for Xiamen Airlines Ltd.
