On The Media Interpretation Of Economic Policy

The management of national economy is achieved mainly by formulating and executing various economic policies, so every country formulates its own policy to promote economic development. As China is undertaking socialist modernization which takes economic development as the main target, the importance of economic policy in its policy system is obvious. Economic policy, which contains rich information, is a kind of news resource worthy of in-depth exploration. The media interpretation of economic policy is the prediction, report and analysis of economic policy by the mass media. Through collecting, analyzing and integrating the information from government and the people, circulating the information between them so that it can be widely accepted, completely executed, and fed back in time, the media acts as a communication platfonn between government and the people. By this way, the media can help to establish economic policies which can meet both government's and the people's interests. The interpretation of economic policy can effectively reinforce the authority and influence of mass media. So how to make better interpretation of economic policy is the theme of this thesis. Apart from analyzing the common problem during the course of media interpretation of economic policy in the past, the thesis also concentrates on the dynamic report and explores how to interpret with a macro and operational view in a purpose to help the media provide a comprehensive and in-depth interpretation of economic policy.
