The Financial Report Improvement Based On New Economic Theory

Financial report is the written document reflecting the financial status and operating results, and is also the major approach for business investors, creditors, government departments, agencies and other information users to get the information of company's financial status, operating results and cash flows. Therefore, its quality directly determines the decision's accuracy made by outside information users. However, in the 21st century, the new economic operation mode characterized by network, information, knowledge and high technology began to take shape:electronic technology is rapidly developing; intellectual capital is taking more and more proportions, business risk and uncertainties are increasing; business competition becomes more intense. All these factors make the traditional accounting report system show its short comes:old-fashioned, low efficiency and inadaptability.This dissertation analyzed enterprise management features in new economic era: intellectual capital has become the fourth key elements, and innovation is the core competence for business to gain profit growth. Based on the new economy theory, referring to the theory of intellectual capital, core competence and digital economics, the author creatively proposed following general concepts:Re-structure and categorize the financial report elements, take intellectual capital into financial report and analyze its value-adding and preservation status; By using network technology, setup a "Business Financial Report Information Network" to meet users'demand for information timeliness and fairness; Enlarge the business information disclosure scope to include business development key index. With all those improvements above, information users can be provided with more efficient, real and fair accounting information.
