Study On Incentive And Constraint Mechanism Of State-held Commercial Banks

According to the WTO agreement, the Chinese bank will be open to the whole world.During the process of Chinese banking integrating the world financial market, the state-ownedcommercial bank gradually completed the share system reformation and was changed into a kindof state-held commercial bank. The first important factor is human resource in the competitionbetween the state-held commercial banks and foreign capital banks. Currently, the mechanismof using person in the state-held commercial banks can't adapt to the demand of human resourcecompetition, the basic reason is the lack of effective incentive mechanism and constraintmechanism.This paper used the trust-agent theory and the west management-encourage theories tostudy the incentive mechanism and constraint mechanism of the state-held commercial banks.This paper analyzed the incentive and constraint mechanism's present condition on the basis ofreviewing the state-owned banks' stipulation and constraint mechanism, and found out theproblem existing in the incentive mechanism and constraint mechanism. In the mean time, thispaper used the comparative method to analyze the particularity of the state-held commercialbanks. By the comparison, this paper put forward the countermeasure from two aspects on theincentive mechanism and constraint mechanism in the state-held commercial banks. The firstaspect is to consummate the incentive mechanism from building up loaves and fishes incentivelevel, spirit incentive level and property right incentive level;The second is to consummate theconstraint mechanism from building up the internal management system and external constraintmechanism.
