Analysis Of East Asian Monetary Integration Based On The Experiences Of European Union

Monetary regionalizing is a great structural question in the contemporary world economic development under the background of integration of regional economics. Various countries are devoting to promote the status of their national currency in the international monetary system. In this situation, European Union and North America free trade area have already taken the lead in forming their own regional monetary system which symbolizes that two of the three international economy centers have already possessed their own standard currencies. As the other important economy center of the three, East Asia has the necessity to strengthen the local currency cooperation and to advance the local currency integration. While Asia pursues the currency integration, European Union's experiences is worthy paying attention the most. Therefore, this text takes the monetary integration of European Union as reference to research the East Asian monetary integration and the thinking of analysis and logic on researching the East Asian monetary integration is guided with European Union's success experiences. This article has first limited the east Asian monetary integration concept, elaborated the origin and the necessity of east Asian monetary integration to point out the inevitability of East Asian monetary integration tendency;Then begins to analyze the European Union monetary integration's courses and the realistic difficulties after Euro carries on, summarizes several beneficial enlightenment;and then has analyzed the realistic condition with East Asia monetary integration according to the enlightenments of European Union. Through analyzing , finds greater disparity existing with European Union in such aspects as intensity of economic integration , economic similar , political will and key country in east Asia;But east Asia area trade reliance degree and economic opening are both relatively high, which offers the foundation for the fact that the currency of east Asia integrates;Finally, has pointed out the suggestion of promoting monetary process of integration of east Asia, that is east Asia needs to promote the advancement of monetary integration with the free trade area, and to be driven by the sub-region monetary integration.
