Project joint venture is a strategic entity, formed by two or more independent project construction enterprises in order to carry out one or more engineering projects. In recent years, along with the demand increase and diversification in project contracting market in and outside China, contracting by joint venture has become a contracting model that coincide with the development of the project contracting market.The thesis makes a profound study covering the range of joint venture structuring process and its internal management that in accordance with the demand for joint venture contracting in present market. The thesis, firstly, based on the study of status quo and development trend in present domestic and oversea market, defines its research purpose by putting forward the market demand for contracting by joint venture from different aspects.
