With the development of socialist market economy and deepening reform of state-run enterprises, there arises to various degree the problem for the business affiliated to these big enterprises to survive and develop. Impeded by traditional ideas and old mechanism, these businesses encounter problems such as lacking of competitiveness for their products and without complete marketing system, etc, which has become a major obstacle for them to develop in market economy. It is of great importance, therefore, for these businesses to focus on transformation of their orientation and going for external markets, applying modern marketing theory, seeking and carrying out business marketing which is suitable for them.An analysis is made of the current marketing situation and problems exist in the Lanzhou Weili Bao Softdrink Manufacturer in this article and some specific marketing approaches are put forward with consideration of their marketing environments, which can be helpful for these businesses to adjust their products, improve their operations and services and enhance their market competitiveness under current situations.At the present stage of the development of the market economy in our country, there are still some businesses which are affiliated to the state-run enterprises and are not quite market-orientated, like Lanzhou Weili Bao Softdrink Manufacturer. These businesses must start reform and get on the way to market-orientated self-perfection and self-reliance under the guidance of the state macro policies. This is of great importance to the survival and development of those businesses affiliated to state-run enterprises.
