International Trade is very important to the economy of a country. As being one of the leading soap suppliers, Shanghai Soap Co.,Ltd.(abbr. SSC) not only fights with the competitors in the domestic market, but also rivals with the foreign suppliers in view to develop the oversea market.Shanghai Soap Co.,Ltd.(abbr. SSC)'s previous name is China Soap Company, founded by Uni-Lever before the Liberation, was the boot of the soap-making of China. After the Liberation, it was nationalized and changed the name as Shanghai Soap Factory. Under the planned economy, for a long time being, Shanghai Soap Factory possess the dominance in the soap supplying and the demand of its product always exceeds its supply. More over, early in the 1950s, Shanghai Soap Factory exported the Bee & Flowers sandalwood soap to Hongkong and South East Asia.While the competitions in both the domestic and the oversea market are more and more sharp, the situation of the exportation of SSC has changed a lot .As before, export is in view to provide the traditional products dominated in the local market for the foreign customers. But till now, the exporting business has become an important method to ease the big stress caused by the huge competitions in the domestic daily-chemical market. The writer, who has worked in the International Department of SSC for 5 years, studies and thinks carefully around the exporting procedure and the relevant problems while dealing the everyday job.In this thesis, the soap-making industry situation, the development of the international marketing are discussed in details on the topic of Research on the International Marketing Tragedies of Shanghai Soap Co.,Ltd.. Also attempt to put up the methods to solve the problem and improve the situation on the basis of the survey and the analysis.
