Research On The Optimal Decision-Making Of The Distribution Center Allocation

Along with the development of the economic globalization and joining into WTO, the logistics industry has become one of the most important industry and new economic growth point in our country. After analyzing the advanced experience of the logistics developed in domestic and international, the distribution is proved to be an efficient service way of the logistics. It becomes even more indispensable with the development of the e-commerce. So as a basic establishment of the logistics in distribution activity, the distribution center is the keystone in the logistics facility construction for a period of aftertime. As we know, it needs to draw up the scientific allocation program before building a distribution center to confirm reasonable input definitely, and then we can optimize the disposition of the logistics resources in the future, so that to gain the expected output.This paper makes primary researches to the distribution center allocation on the basis of referencing to the theory at home and abroad. Starting with the concept and functions of distribution center, this paper studies the relationship between electronic commerce and distribution center, and the necessary characteristics of the distribution center under the electronic commerce. After that it points out the problems existing in distribution center presently in our country, and puts forward the corresponding solution. On the basis of researching the related issues of the distribution center, a new mathematics model is established to describe the distribution center allocation. Aiming at minimum cost, this model specially analyzes the product value losing cost in stock process, the punishment cost of delaying in electronic commerce environment, and the maintenance cost of product after sold. The model provides a new conception for the executives to build up the distribution center. Finally, the writer uses empirical analysis to study the distribution center allocation to reduce the whole cost of the distribution center.In the proposed model, the cost contains the value loss in storage and also the postponed value loss and service loss due to the e-commerce, so that it is more suitable for the modern circumstance, which is a good reference for the distribution center allocation decision.
