Study On The Logistics Distribution Center Location For W Company

Nowadays,with the development of the logistics industry,the logistics distribution system is gradually improving.As a key role in connecting upstream with downstream work,the reasonable logistics distribution center location will lead to higher inventory turnover rate,faster commodity circulation speed and lower cost,which will help to enhance the core competitiveness of the company.Based on this,this paper focus on W company,and then proposes the relevant site selection plan for the location problem of logistics distribution center in W pure water company logistics distribution system,and evaluates these schemes according to some evaluation criteria,finally,makes some suggestions on the logistics distribution center location for W company.First of all,the status quo of logistics distribution center selection at home and abroad were reviewed,and the concept of logistics distribution center and the distribution center location are introduced.And the combination of qualitative method and quantitative method are applied in this paper for W company.Secondly,paper analyses the current logistics situation of W enterprise and the influencing factors of the location of logistics and distribution center,then the principle and step of distribution center selection are also involved into logistics distribution center selection.Finally,the center of gravity method is used for preliminary site selection of W company,three regions are selected as the alternative site,then the questionnaire method and Analytic Hierarchy Process method(AHP)considering the future demand are used to determine the weight of the influencing factors of distribution center location,and the comprehensive evaluation is carried out to determine the most suitable distribution center location area for W company.
