New Institutional Economics Analysis On The Development Of The Regional Small And Medium Sized Banks In Our Country

The regional small and medium sized bank is an important part of financial system in our country. And it plays a special role in supporting our country's economic development. With the development of the regional small and medium sized bank recently, it has been of competitive in some extend. However, it has been frustrated by many problems in the further development. It will be meaningful if we can find a way to overcome the problems, which is suitable for the development of the regional small and medium sized bank in our country.This dissertation took the new institution economics analysis mentality as a master line, which contains "transaction cost - property right - institution and institution vicissitude". It unified the reality of bank development in our country, analyzed regional small and medium sized banks'necessity of development, the property right question, the development way choice and the institution arrangement and so on. And it attempted theoretically to be helpful to our country's regional small and medium sized banks'development.Firstly, the dissertation introduced the development of regional small and medium sized banks in our country, and analyzed its comparison superiority and comparison inferiority. Moreover, it further proved the necessity to develop the regional small and medium sized banks in our country by applying the transaction cost theory.Following, the dissertation discussed how to develop the regional small and medium sized banks in our country, and which is the main body of the dissertation. It involved three aspects, which are the regional small and medium sized banks'property right question, institution vicissitude and the institution arranges.On the property right problem, the dissertation introduced the present situation of the regional small and medium sized banks'property right problems in our country, and analyzed the relationship between the property right structure and the small banks'management efficiency. It has concluded that the deepened property right reform is the core to resolve the property right problems. Afterwards, based on the comparative analysis to the new institutional economic institution vicissitude model, the dissertation analyzed the institution vicissitude characteristic of our country's regional small and medium sized banks.
