The Study Of Anti-dumping Problems Of EU And The USA To China

Dumping is treated as an unfair competitive measure in modern international trade. From 1970 there are more and more formal accuses and appeals against dumping, and the following issues about dumping and anti-dumping become the main content of international trade dispute. Therefore, in the Uruguay Round agreements, "Agreement on Anti-dumping Measures" was signed specially on problems of dumping and anti-dumping in order to further standardize related international trade action. But what kind of behavior is actual dumping and anti-dumping, and what influence do they have on the whole world economy and every country? This paper will analyze these problems profoundly from economic point of view so that we can understand dumping and anti-dumping phenomenon properly. Besides, it provides certain economic analysis for further amendment and consummate of anti-dumping policies.This paper falls into four sections:The first section generally relates on dumping and anti-dumping. This part introduces briefly the origin of dumping and anti-dumping, the definition and constitute of dumping, and the characteristics of modern anti-dumping. This is to make readers have a general understand of dumping and anti-dumping.The second section is economic analysis on dumping and anti-dumping. This part makes economic analysis on dumping and anti-dumping with western economic theory and on this basis summarizes the influences of external dumping and anti-dumping on our country.
