A Study On Use Change Inurban-Rural Econtone Of Urumqi And Effects Of Regional Ecological Environment

The urban-rural ecotone is an area which is strongly influenced by the urbanization process. Now the systematic research on land use change and construction of ecology in urban-rural ecotone lies in a preliminary phase, especially it is lack the whole development target and planning to how to maintain the complete of the district ecosystem system in rapid urbanization process. At the age of pursuing ecological environment construction in the Northwest of our country, as the capital of Xinjiang province, Urumqi is one of the center-cities in north-west area. The research on land use in Urban-rural ecotone of Urumqi is better to Control the time-space differences that the type of land use district, and it is beneficial to further recognize the relationship between urbanization and ecological process and Promote city ecosystem developments.In this paper, false color photomontage with scale of 1:50000 treated by the remote sensing picture of Urumqi district in 2001 is the calculating base, and the theory of information entropy and Matlab software that is used to program and recognize the borderline and scope of Urumqi urban-rural ecotone. The spatial expansion of urban-rural ecotone of Urumqi city is divided into 3 phases. According to The development history each phase expansionary modes and the evolution of relationship between Urban and rural are analyzed.Through the on-the-spot investigation and collecting information to recognize constituent factors of urban-rural ecotone in Urumqi and analyze the function of ecosystem, economy and society that it current undertake. According to the date about land use of four countries,the paper analyses the transformation in the types of land use and the landscape of land use in urban-rural ecotone of Urumqi, then summarizes the characteristics of land use in urban-rural ecotone of Urumqi.In the holistic aspect, problems of regional ecological environment are analyzed,which are caused from the urbanization. We have to recognize the fact that the urban fringe spatial forms blindly will certainly cause the most thoroughgoing damage to the natural ecological system. Therefore the paper recommend that The urban-rural ecotone is examined in the whole environment, concentrating on urban fringe area of different type should be gradually expanded under control,fitting the natural ecological values. Based on the analysis, some ideas are brought forward about optimizing the spatial pattern of landscape in urban-rural ecotone of Urumqi.
