The present dissertation deals with the taxonomy of Dictynid spiders (Araneae:Dictynidae) in caves from Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, southwest China. Three parts are included:Part Ⅰ deals with the general information about geography, climate, physiognomy of Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, as well as the cave spider diversity of this region. Meanwhile, brief researching background, research history, morphological characteristics, and economic significance of the dictynid spiders living in caves. Part Ⅱ reports twelve new species of the spider family Dictynidae from caves on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau of southern China. Six of them belong to the poorly known genus Brommella Tullgren,1948: B. circinata sp. nov., B. funaria sp. nov., B. licina sp. nov., B. tonsa sp. nov., B. xinganensis sp. nov. and B. yizhouensis sp. nov.; three belong to the genus Cicurina Menge,1871:C. digitata sp. nov., C. parallela sp. nov., C. qianxiensis sp. nov.; one belongs to the genus Lathys Thorell,1870:L. inaffecta sp. nov., and two other speices are assigned to a new genus, Voluta gen. nov.:V. bronchia sp. nov. and V. hamata sp. nov.. Part III contains168detailed morphological figures in55plates.
