Rare earth (RE) doped photoluminescence materials has been widely used in lasercrystal, fluorescent display, biological imaging and temperature sensing, ect as itssuperior spectral characteristics. Due to the crystal growth difficult and manufacturingcost higher, the research on RE doped materials increasingly inclines to the direction ofnanocrystalline and fluorescent film. In terms of Gd2(MoO4)3matrix materials,fluorescence properties of different rare earth ions doped nanocrystals has beenrelatively estensive research, but its related properties of thin film materials was seldomconcerned.In this work, the Er3+/Yb3+doped Gd2(MoO4)3thin film has been prepared byspin-coating method, the sol formation, spin velocity and surface topography wascontroled in the preparation, and get the best preparation conditions as follows:0.05M-0.10M concentration of the sol, adding ice acetic acid and citric acid in theprocess of the sol, spin the sol on the cleanly quartz plate to get the liquid film, aftersuitable temperature drying and pretreatment, the liquid film can be set into the mufflefurnace heat to definite temperature to get the fluorescence thin film.The absorption spectra of thin film was measured to do the fitting of J-O strengthparameters by using the theory of Judd-Ofelt. As the absence of rare earth ionconcentration, the undetermined parameter PNLwas introduced to do the fitting.Ω2=4.172×10-20cm2, Ω4=3.739×10-20cm2, Ω6=0.622×10-20cm2. The transitionprobability, level lifetime and the mechanism of energy level of Er3+was analysed byusing the J-O strength parameters.The Er3+/Yb3+doped Gd2(MoO4)3thin film on quartz substrate as dispersed evenly,thin thickness, heat dissipation fast, can be used to make the high accuracy fluorescencethermometer by the thermal coupling level(2H11/2and4S3/2).Do the analysis of theheating effect of nanocrystalline in the laser pump by using the fluorescentthermometer.
