According to the traditional determine plate motion method can qualitative or half quantitative determine plate motion, still cannot achieve completely to the quantitative determination of plate motion, promote the quantitative determination of plate motion method research. And this method is applied to the Indian plate late Mesozoic-today movement in the research, it is concluded that using palaeomagnetism data can not only determine the starting point and the end plate motion of geographic coordinates, still can make plate trajectory, will be able to realize fully the quantitative determination of plate motion. The Indian plate in the early cretaceous paleocene for north micro by west to movement, Annual average speed for6.6cm; Paleocene Oligocene for N30°W direction, the average speed for20.01cm; Oligocene today for N60°E direction, the average speed for11.4cm. India plate in about35Ma, because of the Tethys Ocean closed, the Indian plate and the qinghai-tibet block collision split in together, the Indian plate relative qinghai-tibet block movement direction for north and east, resulting in the rapid uplift of the qinghai-tibet plateau, and form a series of north60~70°west thrust nappe structure.
