Classification And Diversity Of Fishes In The Mangrove At Western Zhanjiang

Guangdong Zhanjiang Mangrove National Nature Reserve is one of the largestmangrove nature reserves in our country. In order to survey the fish resources in mangrove,fishes were collected at3plots which are Gaoqiao, Liushawan and Beitan in this study.The fishes were analyzed by morphology and mitochondria CO Ⅰgene DNA barcodetechnology. And the space-time distribution rules were explored. The results showed that:1)67kinds of adult fishes and18kinds of young fishes were collected by means ofsome different nets (purse seine, cage net, shallow water plankton Ⅰ type network, handsdip net).2) The adult fishes were clustered into26classes by morphological method. And thefishes belong to22genera,18families,5orders. The cluster results are similar with fishesin different family.3)59species of fishes were found in the adult fishes by CO Ⅰsequence, which werebelonged to44genera,26families,9orders. The perciformes had the largest portion,incuding15gobioidei species accounting for39.47%.18young fish and larvae samplesbelonged to2orders,8families12genus and the perciformes had the largest portionincluding7kinds of gobioidei species. The gobioidei species had the largest portion inboth adult fishes and young larvae fishes samples, and the adult gobioidei species werecontributing about30%of adult fishes samples.4) Neighbor-joining method was used to construct59species of fish and18kinds oflarval molecular phylogenetic tree. The results showed that come from different times、different sampling locations and different development periods of the same species can bewell clustered with a high degree of confidence. Among the gobies suborder, Pseudogobiusjavanicus relationships with other gobies far away; Tridentiger bifasciatus and Tridentigertrigonocephalus have the most closely related.5)Space-time distribution analysis showed that: During April to June and Septemberto October, the number of fish at Zhanjiang western mangrove reaches maximum. Thedominant species of adult fish and young larvae fish in the three sites had largedifference.The dominant species of adult fish in Gaoqiao were Scatophagus argus, Teraponjarbua in Liushawan, and Ambassis marianus in Beitan. For dominant species of youngfish, Pseudogobius masago in Gaoqiao, Terapon jarbua in Liushawan, Ambassis marianus in Beitan. Based on the structure of fish species, analysis indicated that Gaoqiao wassimilar to Beitan, Liushawan is different to both other sites.
