George Sarton, as one of the most important science historians in the20th century, He put the implementation "Scientific Humanization" as the highest ideal of scientific enterprise pursues in his life. The theory of "New Humanism" is known, and the core of his theory of "new humanism" content was the so-called "Scientific Humanization". In fact, for Sarton,"Scientific Humanization" was not only a kind of inane idea and more important, it was a kind of practical action.Sarton thinked, and the only way to "Scientific Humanization" was turned to research of the history of science.All the time, Sarton’s biggest wish was like Comte who can compile a comprehensive history books, therefore, the influence of positivism thoughts of Sarton was huge.
