China is a country which produces much coal, coal resources in the allocation of resources has strategic values in our country. As the main analysis of coal mining method, the development of logging technology has an important value of science and technology for coal mining. This paper analyzes the current development of logging technology back home and abroad, and introduces the common principle of logging technology, combined with the actual, put forward a new type of multifunctional CAN bus network in the coal mine logging tool. This tool is mainly composed of computer user interface program, PC and gathering node in three parts. Computer user interface programs are written by the MFC, the main users of human-computer interaction and acquisition data chart shows. Use STM32MCU as the core in PC, and the computer can be through the wired (serial) to accomplish communication. Considering the power waste, we pick the PIC18F4680of8bit in acquisition node. We select the CAN bus to communicate between the upper monitor, using the master-slave network structure with strong ability in extensible, according to well logging need convenient dismounting the different attributes of the well ogging data acquisition node, complete logging task. Optimize the human-computer interaction of user and tool, the design of computer user interface program convenient user to mark form intuitive analysis of measurement data. And by the design of the network application layer protocol, we improve the bus load factor, realized the multi-node network maintenance and the requirements of normal communication, expand the width and breadth of logging technology at the same time.This paper introduces the development of logging technology back home and abroad at first, describes the design of the tool adopted by the technical foundation. Tool is given the overall architecture, and tool network topology chart. Then logging tool is introduced from two aspects of hardware and software of the main components of the function and the concrete implementation process. Introduces the working principle and process of the whole tool network, presents a complete network application layer communication protocol. The logging instrument laboratory and field debugging process do the narration, test results are given, and the results are analyzed at last. Projects are summarized and the deficiency existing in the implementation of the situation.In this paper, the research design of the coal mine logging tool, combining the actual logging with so much needs, is much suitable for the coal mine well logging work. Proved by testing the system with high stability, and has a good scalability and can meet the demand of all kinds of well logging, with the very high practical value.
