VLF also known as very low frequency. Along with the very low frequency signal’scharacteristics that its transmission phase is stable has been discovered, VLF has gradually become a newkind of electromagnetic measurements. Due to the very low frequency electromagnetic method doesn’tneed to build its own launch site source. So very low frequency electromagnetic method need not like ageneral survey of electrical method which have the building equipment such as power supply wire and soon. Plus its low cost, high work efficiency, equipment is easy to be carried, much more measurableparameters, good for outdoor use, information elaborate is easy and so on many merits, very low frequencyelectromagnetic method is widely used in looking for mineral deposits, groundwater, tectonic belt,navigation, etc. With the rapid economical development, space weather has attracted more and more peopleto concern it. So far, there are three kinds of means to monitor Solar activity: Optical, radio, observationof the Observatory network. Satellite observations. Foundation of VLF observation. However, due toits high sensitivity, low cost, without the restriction of time and place and other advantages, VLFmonitoring method has become an effective measure to monitor the Solar activity and study thecharacteristics of the ionosphere.According to previous research, very low frequency signal and X-ray emission of solar flarehave good correlation both in terms of time and intensity. In Xinxiang city Henan province, this paper usedigital VLF receiver carried out observation experiment of space weather, through a comprehensivescreening, we got212times solar flare situation which happened every day between the year1998and2001and from8:00am to17:00pm. Using internal programming to record the very low frequency’s phaseabnormal data and the least square method to simulate the numerical relationship between phase abnormalvalue and peak flow F0(erg/cm2·s) when flares break out. We got the corresponding fitting equation fromthree different Russia VLF signal transmitters. The Shenzhou spacecraft is the first in our country are likeunmanned spacecraft, safe heaven it indicates our country have further breakthrough in manned spaceflight,to complete the manned flight goal one step closer, space weather flight safety on the spacecraft has a great impact, space weather forecast the spacecraft flight period is very important. Thus, we use thecorresponding fitting equation to monitor phase abnormal conditions during the ShenZhou’s emissionand return. This paper uses the latest fitting equation to carry out processing analysis of the phase abnormaldata and gives the inversion of the flare level, which fits well with data observed by America GOESsatellite, it indicates that VLF method has certain practical significance in the application of space weatherforecasting, and it lays a solid foundation for later more simple space weather forecast.
