FY-3is the second generation of Chinese polar orbiting meteorological satellite with the capability of multi-spectral,three-dimensional and quantitatively global observation. The remote sensing data are processed by using TOU and different kinds of products are generated routinely with the high-speed computers and networks of NSMC. Total ozone retrieval is an irreplaceable role in the atmospherehas as the key function of NSMC.The total ozone data retrieval system designed in this thesis is mainly to do related operations with observational data collected by TOU. In the development and design of the system,I completed the following work:The design and development of the module for inversing track data. HDF is used redundant distributed storage to ensure data security,with professional interface to read and write. Dual channel inversion algorithm can effectively remove the noise and retrieves the data. Image data can be got from the total ozone data through the GIS spatial analysis and mapping function.The design and development of the module for integrating data.Data of radiometric calibration and track data processing can be batch analysed and read through XML configuration files. Longitude latitude projection and stereographic projection can determine the data grid position. Median projection of image processing can be used to make track mosaic with using GIS to get the image data.Completed the integrated testing for the system. Simulation tests were carried out by using a large amount of data to improve the data processing method. According to the performance problems appearing in the test, we took optimization steps just as multi threading,to ensure the system can work normal independently in a long time.The trial run of FY-3C took about six months following its launch. FY-3C has been officially in operation since January2013.Every module in system is working stable. The module has good scalability and be easy to be upgraded.
