In recent years, global agricultural pollution has become an increasingly significant problem, and agricultural pollution is an important source of aquatic contamination, soil contamination and atmospheric contamination. Soil salinization is one of the focus problems in the agriculture pollution. Exploiting the salt-tolerant plants is the major problem to solve the soil salinazation in the world. Achnatherum splendens is the best plant to reconstruct ecological soil, it is resistant to barren, wind and salinity. To be better research the resistant extent of achnatherum splendens in the saline soil, the study uses nutrient solution with different concentration of neutral salt NaCl (0,0.1,0.25,0.5,0.75, lmg/L) and alkaline salt Na2CO3(0,0.1,0.25,0.5,0.75,1,1.5mg/L) to simulate the soil salinization, the seeds of the achnatherum splendens was treated with the above solution. In the whole experiment process, keep the suitable culture condition. By analyzing the seed germination, root and stem growth, chlorophyll content and proline content of achnatherum splendens, to research the effect of salinization stress on germination and seedling growth of achnatherum splendens seeds. There are no significant difference of the germination of seeds between that in low concentrations of NaCl solution alone and the control group. Increasing the salt concentration could inhibit achnatherum splendens germination. With the increase of salt concentration, the inhibition increased, the germination rate reduced. In the same NaCl concentration, with the increase of Na2CO3concentration, the germination rate reduced. In the same processing conditions, with the increase of NaCl or Na2CO3concentration, the root length decreased. The change of root length with the concentration of NaCl concentration is significantly higher than the change of root length with the concentration of Na2CO3concentration. This suggests that the influence of NaCl on achnatherum splendens root as compared with the Na2CO3is more intense. With the increase of salinity level, the stem length decreased. At a lower level of salinity levels (NaCl concentration is less than0.75mg/L, Na2CO3concentration is less than0.5mg/L), there is no effect on chlorophyll of splendens, which within the tolerance range. When the concentration more than the level, the chlorophyll content fell sharply. This shows that the chlorophyll content in splendens seedlings had tolerance within a certain range. When the Na2CO3concentration in0-0.25mg/L, the content of proline did not has great changes, but when the Na2CO3concentration in0.5-1.0mg/L, the proline content increased greatly. This shows that the lower Na2CO3concentration stressed achnatherum splendens is not obvious in the same NaCl concentration. When the Na2CO3concentration increased to a certain degree, achnatherum splendens was stressed greatly.
