Groundwater resources is an important water resource supplying industry and agriculture and residengts living water in Xinghua area of Fenyang, which is the important support and protection to achieve the sustatinable socio-economic development. It mainly expilors the quaternary deep confined water in Xinghua alluvial fan. Since the1980s, with the rapid economic development in this area, water demand increases greatly. By over-pumping of groundwater, it result in the groundwater table dropped sharply, over-exploited funnel spreaded to the entire district, shaft scrapped and well water quality deteriorated and so on.Aseries of problems appearing one after another, it brings great loss to the local economy. Therefore,to study how to make use of the region’s own condition, fast restoration level of groundwater in the area, has become a pressing problem to solute for the local government and people.Based on the effective use of the reservior abandoned water, purposed to repairing the groundwater environment of alluvial fan over-exploited district, study the feasibility of using Wenyu reservoir abandoned water to artifical recharge the deep groundwater aquifer in alluvial fan over-exploitation area. This study not only improve the groundwater environment of over-exploited in the study area, but also solve the problem of utilization of Wenyu river reservior abandoned water. It is important for the realization of the area’s surface water and groundwater joint scheduling regulation and storage, repairing and governance groundwater environment of over-exploited area and improving the utilization rate of surface water resources that eventually relieve the contradiction between supply and demand in this area.According to the calculation of the Wenyu reservoir abandoned water at25%,50%,75%and95%guaranteed rate and the analysis of water quality, it concluded that under the condition of three different reliability (95%reliability under no abandon water) reservoir abandoned water availability, but also determine the feasibility of groundwater recharge on the basis of analysis of geological and hydro geological conditions in the study area. On the basis of the above analysis and calculation, it formulated the suitable amount of water recharge place and recharge locations.Finally it has carried on the generalized to hydrogeological conditions in the study area, established a two-dimensional mathematical model of unsteady flow of underground water. Through the Visual Modflow groundwater numerical simulation software simulated the three different reliability under the condition of recharge repair over-exploited groundwater environment in the study area of water level change process, then determine the different reliability under the condition of recharge to repair and restore influence degree of the groundwater table in the studied area, to provide a scientific basis and important reference for the over-exploited groundwater environmental restoration and reasonable development of water resources in this area.The results shows that is feasible to restore the over-exploited groundwater environment with the Wenyu reservoir abandoned water and the repair effect is remarkable. It shows that greater amount of recharge water under three different conditions of the guaranteed rate, the larger impact on groundwater remendation area, the higher water level rises after the repair. Under the conditions of25%guaranteed rate the recharge amount is the largest and groundwater level recovery best in the study area. The total amount of water recharge under the condition of25%guaranteed rate nearly doubled the condition of75%guaranteed rate, water level recovery is also nearly double the latter. In the Wenyu River reservoir25%,50%and75%guaranteed rate of three different conditions it simulated the groundwater level recovery effect after four years in the study area, and the results show that relative to the absence of recharge, the highest level were raised45.45m,35.23m and26.37m. Among them, the simulation results under the conditions of25%guaranteed rate shows groundwater level in the study area can even restore to the mid-1980s normal hydrophobic levels.
