Earthquake early warning system monitors seismic waves by stations and estimatesthe parameters after the earthquake, and pushes information to client before thedevastating waves arrive. It is an effective measure for reducing fatalities, casualties andcosts. In this paper, we summarized the current ground motion prediction equations indomestic and foreign. And we realized a program of estimating intensity base onmulti-model. At the same time, we designed the system architecture and database. Inorder to achieve a publish system of multi-platform and quasi real-time. We studied onvirtual thread, time GIS, GPS offset correction. The contents are summarized asfollows:Set up a system of estimating intensity base on multi-model. And we implement anintensity estimate of source-rock-surface. Once the earthquake parameters (magnitude, time, location), the program will runs with other data, like V30and fault. And quicklygets the estimated intensity in service area.According to the system requirements specification, we designed the systemarchitecture and database, cleared the functional module and interfaces. Establish thePC platform, mobile platform and web platform with JAVA. Realizing timely pushinformation which earthquake time, epicenter location, arriving time and estimatedintensity. On the web platform, we studied on virtual thread to overcome a difficulty thatprogram in browser is single thread. Achieved listen the information as well as simulatethe seismic wave propagation. At the same time, we studied on time GIS, reproducedthe seismic wave propagation on ArcGIS. To correctly display the seismic informationon Baidu map, we studied on GPS offset correction. The seismic information isdisplayed quickly and efficiently.
