Jin150Block is located on the Western Huanxiling oil field which is in the West Slopeof Western Depression of Liaohe Basin. Target layer is Mesozoic which belongs to Sunjiawanformation of Cretaceous. Jin150Block has characteristics such as the poor physicalproperties and the severe heterogeneity of the reservoir. It was converted into water-injectiondevelopment in2005. Since then, the development effect of Jin150Block became worsebecause of the more prominent development contradiction.The paper reveals the residual oil distribution regularity by giving a study of finereservoir characterization on the Mesozoic Formation of Jin150Block and building a3Dgeological model. We studied from static aspects to dynamic aspcects which achieved thecombination of the static and the dynamic. The results of stratigraphic classification andcorrelation indicate that the Mesozoic of Jin150block is only developed on Sunjiawanformation of Cretaceous. We divided it into three oil group and thought the second one asthe main oil-bearing formations.Then we can further divided it into three sandstone groupswhich can even divided into four layers. Through3D seismic interpretation,We thought thatJin150Block is located in a high band which is clamped by nearly east-west faults.It is afault nose structure which depth of the high spot is1635m.Jin150block belongs to mid-fan deposit of alluvial fan deposition. It can divided intofour sedimentary microfacies,such as braided river, braided river edge, river sand, mud riveroverflow. The lithology is mainly purple sandy conglomerate and its roundness is awfulwhich is a secondary ribs-first round. The content of smectite is high in the clay mineral. Itsaverage content is up to69.6%. According to core analysis data, its average porosity is0.142and its average permeability is39.1xlO-3|im3, Its reservoir property is awful which belongsto the hole, low permeability super-fine throat heterogeneous reservoir.This paper is based on studying fine reservoir characterization and then carried out thestudy on reservoir numerical simulation by building a3D geological model. Combining withthe development dynamic analysis results,We get the conclusion that the remaining oil of thetarget layer is abundant. The residual oil saturation is up to51.5%.The reservoir thickness islarger and full of great development potential which is brimming with remaining oil.
