Xuefeng area is experienced a long geological evolution,its structure,metamorphism and magmatic activity development, thus formed a complex andregular tectonic framework, control of the formation and distribution of gold depositsin this area. Chanziping gold deposit is a typical gold deposits in Xuefeng gold oreTanaka.In this paper, Chanziping gold deposit as the research object, from the regionalgeological background,ore deposits geological characteristics(ore vein characteristics,orebody characteristics, ore characteristics, mineral characteristics,alterationcharacteristics), ore deposits geochemical characteristics, etc, to discuss themineralization mechanism of the gold mine.At the same time by using the basictheory of metallogenic regularity and metallogenic prediction, summarizes theimportant prospecting marks, then points out that the prospecting direction.The main contents of the paper can be summarized as the follows:1.Chanziping gold deposit is located in the south china plate and Yangtze platetransition zone-the middle of xuefeng arcuate structure belt. The mining area haveXuPu-JingXian deep fault in the west and XuPu-WuYang deep fault in the east. BaiMashan rock mass in the north of mining area and in the southwest have the huashanrock mass. With strata, structure, magmatic rocks of trinity excellent metallogenicgeological conditions.2.The outcropped strata are mainly the lower Sinian series Jiangkou groupChangtan group two segment and three segment. F2has the ductile shear fracturecharacteristics and ore-guided obvious effect. NW-altered fracture zone has theextensional tectonic crushing characteristics of sinistral shear, NW-trending faultsrestricted and controlled it’s distribution and output, NW-altered fracture zone is theore-containing.3.Ore bodies are all distributed in mineralization lens body.The gold mineralizedbody all appeared in large-scale strong alteration mineralization lens. With closelyrelated of large-scale metasomatic quartzite and Phyllic alteration rocks.4.The ore’s useful minerals is single natural gold, gangue minerals is quartz,sericite, ore minerals are mainly pyrite and arsenopyrite. Pyrite, arsenopyrite andquartz is the main gold-bearing mineral. Silicification and sericite-quartz alterationare the most common and strongest alteration of the ore deposit, the goldmineralization intensity is closely related to silicification alteration strength. Wallrock alteration of ore deposits has the horizontal zonal characteristics.5.Based on the study of major elements, trace elements and rare earth elements,hydrogen oxygen isotope, sulfur isotope and lead isotope, illustrates the source of thegold ore material has the characteristics of complexity and multiple sources. Thestudy of fluid inclusions shows that ore-forming fluid’s average temperature offreezing is6.8℃, the average of homogenization temperature is223℃, the average of salinity is10.27%, the average of density is0.91g/cm3, the average of ore-formingpressure is233.62×105Pa, the average of metallogenic depth is0.77km, show that theore-forming fluids of the gold deposits has In low temperature, low salinity, mediumdensity, low pressure, medium-hypabyssal facies metallogenic environmentcharacteristics. According to contain gold quartz vein quartz inclusions Rb-Sr agedetermination data speculate that the mineralization of Chanziping gold ore associatedwith Indosinian magmatism.6.According to the the study of regional geological background and ore depositgeological characteristics, etc, considered Chanziping gold deposit located in thefavorable area of gold metallogenic belt, has superior metallogenic geologicalconditions. Through a variety of different types of ore-prospecting criteriasummarized and combined with the geological background of the whole study area,considered in the deep side prospecting with huge potential.
