The western part of the northern margin of the North China Platform is an important gold-polymetallic metallogenic belt in North China.The tectonic environment in this area is complex and the geological evolution is long.The Baiyun Obo Fe-Nb-REE deposit is in this area which has attracted worldwide attention.A series of large and super-large gold deposits are in this area too,such as Haoyaoerhudong gold deposit and Hadamengou gold deposit.Based on the exploration work of Kulunaobao gold deposit in Urad Zhongqi of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the related research of gold deposit in the northern margin of North China Platform,this paper comprehensively expounds and analyzes the geological characteristics and prospecting direction of gold deposit in the study area.The strata exposed in the study area are Archaeozoic Wulashan Group Migmatite,Wulashan Group Dark gneiss Formation II Member,Middle-Late Proterozoic Bayan Obo Group Birute Formation II and III Member,Neogene Neogene Baogeda Ura Formation and Quaternary Holocene.The faults can be divided into three groups:E-W,NW and NE.The E-W faults are related to metallogenesis,and NE faults are the main ore-bearing structures.The gold deposits in the study area belong to magmatic hydrothermal filling type gold deposits,and the wall rock alteration near the deposit is mainly silicification and fluorite mineralization.And pyrite mineralization.The gold deposits in the study area are closely related to the Triassic magmatic activities,generally occurring in the vicinity of Triassic granite,Wulashan Group is grouped migmatized gneiss or marble faults,the ore bodies are siliceous veins or structural alteration belts,strictly controlled by fault structures,wall rock alteration is mainly mesothermal and low temperature hydrothermal alteration.According to the research data of domestic and foreign scholars and the geological work of the study area,the gold deposits in the study area conform to the metallogenic characteristics of"hydrothermal type gold deposits related to medium-deep intrusive rocks",and belong to the typical metallogenic model of gold deposits in the western part of the northern margin of North China Platform.EW-trending secondary faults in the study area provide a channel for magmatic intrusion and hydrothermal activities,and provide space for gold enrichment;at the same time,multi-stage magmatic activities provide heat for metallogenesis,and activate gold in the source beds,migrate to the metallogenic sites and precipitate and enrich it;Wulashan Group is into migmatite and migmatite in the study area.The high gold abundance of marble provides a potential source for mineralization.Near EW-trending faulted structure or structural fracture zone near Triassic granite,silicification,fluorite mineralization and pyritization are important indicators of ore prospecting in the study area.AP2 and AP5 anomaly areas in the study area,outside the study area and near the East-West faults F13.F14 and F15 in the south of the study area,and near the West-West faults F1 and F2 can be used as prospecting targets for further work.
