Zhi Luo oil field is located in Fu County Yan ’an City, Shanxi Province, Tectonic units belong to Shanbei slope, with an area of about 2548 square kilometers. In ordos basin sedimentary background, the studied area which in Chang 8 period, is in Fuxian delta sedimentary system, and the subfacies belongs to delta front. In this paper first of all according to the principle of sequence stratigraphic division, and on the basis of core, logging curve could be divided and compared the small layers of Chang 8 reservoir group in researched region, then divided into Chang 81 and Chang 8‘ two small layers. By comparing the distributed characteristic of sandstone and profile, revealed that in the Chang 82 period, the continuity of oil reservoir is better, as well as the thickness. The channel sand body is relatively developed, reservoir development is better also accordingly. Then, analyzed the four characters of reservoir, based on key well core observation and analysis of testing results, oil testing information, etc. According to the casting thin sections, sanning electron microscope and high-pressure Hg injection experiments, analyzed the porous structure characteristics of reservoir, rock physics classification method is applied to classify reservoir, described the logging response characteristics of all kinds of reservoirs.Integrated the above basic research, launched a secondary interpretation into logging data of Chang 8 reservoir in researched region. Geological characteristics as constraints, established each regional parameter interpretation model of Chang 8 reservoir, determined the parameters. Then established oil and water layer identification chart by partition. Finally, applied this new interpretation model in new wells interpretation and old wells reexamination, and compared with the original explanation conclusion, oil testing results, find that coincidence rate of log interpretation increased significantly.
