Applicating the high precision magnetic method, the IP sounding and CSAMT for delineating the target areas and finding out the spatial distribution of concealed ore body in the area of copper ore. According to study the magneticial and electrical samples characteristics to refer the feasibility of indirectly looking for copper mine by magnetic and electric method. Firstly, the interpolating cut method is used to divide the magnetic anomaly into regional anomalies and local anomalies, that is dividing magnetic anomalies into deep source and shallow source caused; Secondly, this paper is going to use a common data processing of potential fields to process magnetical, to eliminate abnormal local mutation; Finally experience tangent method and 2.5 D joint inversion is used to determine the buried depth of magnetic anomaly sources, combined with geology, geological reason carries on the preliminary analysis of the magnetic anomaly. And IP sounding can display abnormal body shape and depth on the proposed section. CSAMT sounding can access to the electrical characteristics on the section, thus infer the spatial distribution of deep high resistance and low resistance layer characteristics. At last,this paper comprehensives analysis of the three characteristics of geophysical anomalies to infer the geological structures and copper(change) distribution.This paper take Hami copper mine as an example, The high precision magnetic method is applicate to detect out two strong magnetic anomaly area C1 and C2, combining with the geological features and geophysical and geochemical characteristics, the C1 is determined anomaly area for copper study target area. According to the result by setting the three line the IP sounding in the C1 high magnetic anomaly zone, the deep has high polarization and low resistance, strong magnetic plate which it’s nearly anything and almost vertical metal sulfide ore occurrence is inferred, because the surface of ground did not see the specific geological situation,it’s necessary to confirm further. The high and low resistance layer which show in CSAMT sounding profiles associate with magnetic anomaly closely. It’s considered that the ageology structure and layer are related to magnetic anomaly,so it is exist the possibility of tec-tonic mineralization.The application of researching on the above several geophysical prospecting methods in Ha mi copper ore areas showe accurately identify areas of copper prospecting target areas, more accurately reflect the ore body and the direction of the location with the comprehensive geophysical prospecting.It’s can also infer to the spatial distribution of the fracture of concealed ore body effectively.
