Huashandong is a newly found tungsten deposit in northwest Jiangxi province,China. In Huashandong tungsten deposit there are two kinds of granite, one is muscovite containing granite, the other one is biotite granite. In this paper,we presents some results of some powder geochemical tests about these two granite and Shankou-Manjiang granodiorite which is also came out in the Huashandong tungsten deposit.Their geochemical data indicate that those granite and granodiorite are calc-alkaline, peraluminous and rich in Na, and they maybe a series results of a homologous differentiation magma.Their trace elements and REE elements data show that they are “I”-type granite, crust and mantle both provided the matter for their forming. According to the Yb vs.(Yb+Nb) and Yb N vs.(La N/Yb N) diagrams, these granite are related to the island arc magma; we also presents the LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating results of which separated from the muscovite containing granite, yielded the weighted mean206Pb/238 U age of 807±8Ma,this age is in relation to other workers’ result, so this kind of granite formed in the Neoproterozoic. It indicates that the tungsten mineralization has taken place in the Neoproterozoic in this area.In addition to the geological setting of Huanan plate in the Neoproterozoic, it shows that the petrogenesis of these granite may related to the extension of post-collision.
