Zhao 51-59 well block located in Daqing City Heilongjiang Province, structurely located in Sanzhao depression of Songliao Basin, the area is 19km2.Due to the unclear understanding of the structural characteristics and the distribution of sand, paper use of geological, geophysical and hydrocarbon testing data, focusing on structure interpretation, sedimentary facies analysis and sand distribution law to achieve favorable areas prediction. Mainly achieved the following results and understanding:(1) Using 3D visualization technique and coherent body slicing technique to identify small faults, re-revise faults combination. Interpretation of the results showed that the study area was constructed south than in the north of trends, fault distribution is extremely complex, the major fault and the small derived fault divided the whole area into pieces, forming many broken nose, block and s other constructions(2) On the basis of previous studies to determine Putaohua is delta front subfacies and its source direction is from north to south. Vertically sedimentary sequence is transgressive- regressive – transgressive. One underwater distributary channel was mainly developed and divided into two branches in south-central block, one extended to the southwest, the other to the southeast. The estuary bar grew around underwater distributary channel and the sand sheet grew in large continuous tablets.(3)Using seismic attribute data, drilling data in real constraint, using multiple regression analysis method to predict sand distribution, make it clear that sand bodies in the study area are 8-10 meters thick, presents a middle-thick and sides-thin feature, takes the shape of strips. The consistency of predictions and actual drilling sandstone thickness is good..(4)Based on the recognition of structural and reservoir characteristics, combining with the oil test situation and sand prediction results, five favorable block was selected,including two Ⅰfavorable areas, three Ⅱ favorable areas.
