Detect objects within the magnetic method is the use of the Earth’s crust was magnetized by magnetic anomalies to the exploration of underground geological entities and a geophysical method of geological structures. It is an ancient method of geophysical exploration as early as the 17 th century, it was a compass to search for magnetite. Due to the magnetic method is fast and convenient installation, high efficiency, high speed, low cost and features, so widely applied.This thesis measures the magnetic anomalies in the survey region through magnetic prospecting, and uses a variety of data processing methods, suppressing interference and improving signal to noise ratio of the measured data,so as to highlight the information that magnetic anomalies reflect features of geological structure and deposits and improve the reliability of interpretation of magnetic anomaly.This thesis carries out the 1:5,000 ground magnetic survey in the study area, and makes the correspondingprocessing and conversion of the observed magnetic anomaly. The specific processing and conversion methods include: derivative conversion and reduction-to-the-pole processing of ΔT, as well as the upward and downward continuation of ΔT at different depths and the 2.5D human-computer interactioninversion of magnetic anomalies. On this basis,the thesis makes the profile inference and semi-quantitative interpretationof the anomalous region. Taking the characteristic of magnetic anomalies in the survey region as the main basis and combining it with the collected materials of geophysical prospecting and geology,this thesis infers and divides the geological structure of the survey region,infers the distribution of magnetite in the survey region, and determines the location and occurrence of magnetite.It can be inferred that the magnetite mostly distributes in northeastern area of the survey region,and there are 3 concealed mineral(IHC) of NE trending,of which the magnetite has large distribution range and is buried deeply.The research result shows that the semi-quantitative interpretation method is able to provide useful geophysical informationin the determination of magnetite and the inference of the concealed fault zone. Magnetic prospecting of the ΔT anomalies reflects different characteristics of geological structures in the survey region. Making inference of the excellent precise profileof magnetic data and making appropriate semi-quantitative interpretation can better deduce the occurrence of magnetic ore, depth, direction, etc.
