Digital elevation model(DEM) is through a large amount of known points for the expression of the ground in a row, as the core of the geographic information system for terrain analysis data, it has irreplaceable function and extensive application prospect. With the development of the technology of digital elevation model(the quality of the demand is higher and higher, its accuracy analysis and evaluation method has been fully attention. The current method of establishing digital elevation model is varied, and currently a number of methods have its inevitable flaws, how the sample point missing under the premise of improving the precision of digital elevation model, is the main factor restricting the digital terrain model established.In this paper, based on the related concepts of digital elevation model and research status at home and abroad, this paper expounds the several important factors affected the accuracy of digital elevation model. In the light of the commonly used spatial interpolation methods dealing with lack of sample point is difficult to accurately and objectively determine the problem of interpolation function, the elasticity of gene expression programming(GEP) technology is introduced into the digital elevation model in determining the interpolation function, put forward the buffer strategy, timely injection outstanding height body; According to the dynamic cluster search algorithm(SDCA), avoid the calculation of the redundant point; Mobile fitting GEP algorithm was presented(MF- GEP), narrowed the fitting space; Using this algorithm in Visual Studio using c # language programming environment to programming, the algorithm to obtain the interpolation point elevation, in the process of selecting the number of sampling points, fitting selection of interpolation points and interpolation points and the relationship between the location of the sample point was determined. With the method of weighting interpolation established digital elevation model precision were analyzed. Finally established the algorithm of digital elevation model applied to high-speed lines selected engineering instance.Through the experiment of three sets of data calculation results show that using MF- GEP interpolation points of the fitting error is less than using the method of weighting interpolation points of the fitting error, shows that its precision is higher; Instance by digging fill quantity calculation, precision meet the railway line selection of related technical requirements, MF- GEP fitting digital elevation model is feasible and effective in the middle of the rail line selection.
