This article is completed under the patronizing of China Meteorological Administration, public welfare meteorological profession specific (Project number: GYHY201306136). Wind profiler radar observations of high spatial and temporal resolution of the data for small and medium-scale systems is very effective, it can make up for the deficiency of conventional high altitude detection data in a short near prediction. Compared to the wind profiler radars basic products, the redevelopment products which are calculated by basic products can better indicate the occurrence and development of weather systems. In this paper, the credibility of wind profiler radar data which are the current operational use is assessed preliminarily. On this basis, the research and development of the wind profiler radar wind networking product and redevelopment products was done, then analyzed these redevelopment products through examples, finally, got the following conclusions:The horizontal wind detected by the L-band sounding radar is firstly used as a standard to assess the credibility of the horizontal wind observed by Urumqi wind profiler radar and Nanjing wind profiler radar from December 2012 to November 2013 in this paper. The result is that horizontal wind observed by wind profiler radar under 700hPa height has a good consistency with that of the L-band sounding radar. After the single station contrasting, then reliability analysis conducted by calculating wind direction and wind speed deviation of the wind which detected by the national networking wind profiler radar and L-band sounding radar. It concludes that wind profiler radar data between 925-700hPa height has high credibility; at the height of 500hPa, the horizontal wind direction has high level of reliability, but the wind speed is low confidence. Then respectively compared and analyzed the horizontal wind measured by three different types of wind profile radar and the NCEP 1°×1° reanalysis data: the u and v component of the horizontal wind detected by the wind profiler radars has a good consistency with the u and v component of the horizontal wind in NCEP reanalysis data, and the consistency of the two kinds of data in spring is better than summer; the boundary layer wind profile radar has a high reliability under 4km and the data consistency of troposphere wind profile radar is best between2~6km.Finally, the wind networking products and redevelopment products are calculated by the wind profiler radar basic products, the redevelopment products include low-level wind shear index, upper-level jet stream index, low-level jet stream index and temperature advection. Combined with the wind profile radar basic product and the redevelopment products, snowfall process is analyzed. It can be found that there is a strong cold advection in high-level before the start of snowfall, low-level cold advection and warm advection unified appear alternately when the snowfall start. Cold advection will be strong around the middle level in 4 hours before the end of the snowfall, and the cold advection thickness will be increased. The snowfall will end when the low-level is full of the cold advection. Before and after snowfall occurred, characteristics of the low-level wind shear index and jet stream index has not yet been found in snowy weather. By analyzing the change of the wind profile radar redevelopment products before and after the precipitation occurred, it can be concluded that: Low-level wind shear index will be increased at the beginning and the end of the precipitation which can play a certain role in the beginning and the end of the precipitation. The low-level jet stream index has close relationship with precipitation and made a noticeable contribution to the rainfall intensity. It surge occurs at generally 3 to 4 hours before the precipitation, and at the end of precipitation it will decrease sharply. Upper-level jet stream index will be a small wave in 2 hours before the precipitation, it may increase and also be reduced. When low-level has warm advection, high-level for cold advection and cold advection become intense, the strong precipitation will usually appear. When the cold advection thickness or strength increased, heralding the precipitation is coming to an end.
