Geological mapping is an integral part, which plays a pivotal role in the researchof Geology and Geophysics. When the geological disciplinary research aboutgeological science is carried out in various channels, geological maps are often usedto express their research achievements, by which we obtain a better interpret andanalysis of the geophysical problems, the visual display of the result of the treatment.Throughout the development process of geophysical mapping, the initialgeophysical results are mostly hand-painted maps, but for regional geological surveyand mineral exploration, the data collected in the field need a large number ofcomplex calculations and eventually are drawn into various results. Relying solely onmanual operation will spend a lot of manpower and time, not only the efficiency andaccuracy of the results drawn maps is not high, but also the timely information updateand data warehousing of the maps remain to be a problem. To give full play to theresults of geological data in the role of the national economic construction and socialdevelopment, according to the norms of land resources survey project "Digital LandEngineering Task MLR standard"(SZ1999002-2001) requirements, the original dataand maps must be preserved in the form of electronic documents, which requiresgeophysical maps must be mapped by computers. Afterwards, the rapid developmentof computer technology, the successful development of a variety of business graphicssoftware and its wide application in the fields of geophysics meet the demand.Drawing geophysical exploration results by computer, it not merely reduce theworkload and improve work efficiency greatly, but also simplify the data filtering andprocessing,decrease the artificial biases, which make the result more accurate.In a very long period of time, geophysical maps are achieved by Surfer software,which has been widely used to draw the geophysical and geochemical maps for itspowerful data mapping capabilities. To meet the requirements of land resourcessurvey, drawing geophysical exploration maps by MapGIS becomes increasinglyimportant, especially MapGIS has been the universal software platform and specifiedfile format of data archiving geological profession, furthermore, various ofspecifications, standards of the geological profession are based on MapGIS. Therefore, submitting outcomes maps in the format of MapGIS has become the industryrequirements of geological survey project.This article focuses on integrated Surfer, AutoCAD, Section and MapGISsoftware to achieve joint mapping of geophysical data, that is, firstly, drawing thepreliminary outcomes in Surfer soft and output the preliminary outcomes as DXFformat, with the help of programming tools—VB compiler, we can converse Surfergraphic file to MapGIS format graphics file perfectly by using AutoCAD software andSection software, in the final, we make further editing and modification to theobtained files for purpose of high quality maps which is in line with the requirementsof geological data archiving department. In this way, you can take full advantage ofprofessional geophysical software and MapGIS software, which is consistent with theprofessional requirements, while meet the conditions for data submission andarchiving. Its mapping effect is relatively superior to both methods, whether mappedseparately in Surfer software or MapGIS software, for Geophysical anomalies aremore outstanding, and the comparison to other geophysical methods andachievements of geological maps is easier, that is, the results of the same survey linewith different geophysical methods in the same work area, which are in accordancewith the principle of unity mileage down in order of priority, in order to facilitatecomparison between the various methods, which enhance the veracity and reliabilityof the geophysical exploration results, and provides an adequate basis for the finalcomprehensive geological and geophysical interpretation, especially by thecombination of geological section. In addition, it meets the requirements of theinformation submitted and archiving, and facilitate the saving and sharing of theachievement data. At the same time, to prove that this method is viable, it is applied tospecific examples to demonstrate the effect of a diagram. Combined with the actualeffect of feedback, suggestions can be made to the methodology for a furthersupplement and improvement.The innovation of this paper is mainly reflected in the following aspects:(1) Making full use of geophysical software such as Surfer, AutoCAD andgeological survey projects designated software MapGIS, with the help of the Section,the secondary development of MapGIS software, we can get the stated outcomes ofmaps to perfect conversion goal achievement maps, the specific operation method issimple, fast, and maintain the completeness of data.(2) We can obtain projected point identification and terrain lines at the same time by calling the appropriate procedures VB compiler of AutoCAD software, which isespecially suitable for a greater number of measuring points, and is convenient tomodify the size of point.(3) The improvement of MapGIS format contour from using the gradient of theline to the block color packing, not only enrich the drawing elements, make compositeprofile more coordinated, but also geophysical anomalies are more prominent, and thereliability of the data interpretation is higher.
