Research And Investigation On The Native Plant Of Michelia From Qingyuan County, Zhejiang Province

Michelia Linn, is a genus of evergreen plants, which is an important part of subtropical evergreen broadleaved forest, conifer-broadleaved forest and mixed evergreen and deciduous broadleaf forest. Michelia is the second large genus of Magnoliaceae, which has more than90species. There are80species endemic to China.Study on native plant of Michelia in Qingyuan county has academic significant to know flora of Zhejiang Province, protection biodiversity, protection and utilization plant resources, etc.Survey on the native plant of Michelia, the results showed that:(1) Michelia caudate M. H. Wu ex Q. J. Ye&X. H. Wu, Michelia zhejiangensis M. H. Wu ex Q. J. Ye&X. H. Wu and Michelia skinneriana Dunn var. pendula M. H. Wu ex Q. J. Ye&X. H. Wu were found, described, illustrated and compared with its nearest allies, respectively.(2) Revision of the genus of Michelia in Qingyuan county, we accepted five species and two variation, there were M. skinneriana, M. skinneriana var. pendula, M. caudate, M. maudiae, M. elegans, M. zhejiangensis, M. fovolata var. cinerascens, respectively. At last, a key to the species of Michelia in Qingyuan county, Zhejiang province is provided.
