It is difficult and complicated to choose the methods and the techniques used in the fieldwork of seismic prospecting, because the quality of the seismic record is subject to theinfluence of a variety of factors.With the improvement of the Oil Geophysical Prospecting techniques, the complexprospecting areas are attracting more attention, especially those which have complex earthsurface. The work area mentioned in this paper is such a prospecting area, which the surface iscovered with farmlands and several residential quarters. A town located in the centre of it, andit is also involved with an army farm as well as a nation-level protection forest. What’s more,several highways, rivers and oil pipelines cut across the area, and it has a few of oil facilitiessuch as pumping units and oil tanks.Target: Based on the study on the pre-acceptance procedure, the implement of theconstruction, and the complex situation of the work area earth surface, the work team willmake a variety arrange before acceptation to prove the validity and feasibility of completingthe seismic prospecting task in a complex work area with lots of large obstacles.Method: It is the key step for the work team to get a good prospecting result that they designan accurate and comprehensive seismological observation system, in condition ofimplementing the task in a work area full of large obstacles of various kinds with low SNR.The author first analyzes the formerly-get data, then makes an on-the-spot survey, and finallyin this paper ascertains the seismic acquisition parameter suitable for this work area, on thebasis of data acquisition method study and seismic parameter comparison testing. According tothe practical situation, this paper mainly analyzes the difficult points in the seismic wavereception, and provides the resolutions. The author offers the working requirements in themeasurement and reception procedure, and describes the work allocated to the sub-teams. Inthe last part of the paper, the author analyzes the effects of the final data so as to prove theobservation system parameter design and variety design acceptance are accurate and feasible.Result: The accurate observation system parameter design and the feasible variety design acceptance make it possible to enhance the reflection ratio of the final targeted layers for dataacquisition. The SNR and Resolution Ration of data are improved obviously.Conclusion: When countering with large obstacles such as towns and highways, we can laya foundation for the project success through comprehensive on-the-spot investigation, offeringaccurate observation system parameters, and providing a feasible variety design acceptancemethod.
