With the development of comprehensive national power and living standard, theassumption of energy and the resource is increasing gradually, which leads to carry onmany projects about resource exploration. Currently cable telemetry seismograph hasbecome the mainstream of seismic instruments, and achieved good results in a varietyof seismic exploration and field engineering geological evaluation. Domestic seismicinstruments largely dependent on foreign imports of advanced seismic instruments,which has seriously hampered the development of the geological exploration industry.To get rid of the long-term instrument of foreign imports of the situation, the paper athome and abroad have cable telemetry seismic instruments and cross station, developsprototype of cross-station of distributed cable telemetry seismic instrument based ontwo-dimensional telemetry seismic exploration system, which lays a foundation onthree-dimensional seismic exploration. Distributed cable telemetry seismicexploration system focusing on three-dimensional seismic exploration, can obtainseismic profile and obtain the data of a three-dimensional space, which can providesabundant information showing geologic formation of understand. Cross-station as thecore unit of distributed cable telemetry seismic exploration system, on the one handcan complete the line of building management and data forwarding, on the other handhave the function of collecting data and acquisition trigger, this paper proposes theoverall program of prototype of cross-station of distributed cable telemetry seismicexploration system by functional meets of cross-station, Completed a prototypedeveloped in the interior of the cross station prototype was tested and analyzed toverify the feasibility of cross-station program.Based on two-dimensional telemetry seismic exploration system with thetopology of Ethernet-based relay which develops by College of Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering, Jilin University, which research the need of cross-station fordistributed cable telemetry seismic exploration system; this paper verifies thefeasibility of two-dimensional seismic exploration with the topology ofEthernet-based relay expanding to three-dimensional seismic exploration by GNS3network simulation software and propose general scheme of cross-station ofdistributed cable telemetry seismic exploration system prototype development by thecharacteristic of roll in the seismic exploration field work and the racewaymeasurement.According to the function of the cross-station, which divides into three modules:acquisition module control module, power module. The acquisition board and controlboard connect through the double row pin, constituting the hardware platform ofcross-station of distributed cable telemetry seismic exploration system. Acquisitionboard with24A/D core, achieving reference and auxiliary high-precision dataacquisition,in addition, obtaining a trigger signal. Control board have the PowerPCchip as the core based on the Linux operation system constituting a control platform,including the processor module, network module, debugging module, power module,processor module is used to run and storage the Linux system and related software;network module is mainly responsible for exchanging an forwarding of seismicexploration data; debugging module is used to test for system; power board mainlyprovide the voltage of±5V and3.3V for the whole system.This paper describes and studies the construction of hardware and softwareplatform for cross-station, the design of FPGA-based acquisition module and triggercontrol circuit drive, the data transmission technology of large telemetry seismicexploration system, the design control software of distributed cable telemetry seismicexploration system. It select the MPC8360chip as the core of the control board. Dualchannel data Acquisition board with24A/D core, because seismic exploration dataacquisition need a high precision. It also constructs the development environment ofcross compiler based on powerpc+Linux and complete the system of Linuxtransplantation. in addition, it introduces FPGA acquisition module character devicedriver. It introduces the data transmission method of distributed cable telemetry seismic exploration system based on the architecture of multi-hop ethernet whichrealized the allocation of IP address by dynamic and establishment for routing table ofeach node, and make the seismograph host interact with each node command and datatransmission based on TCP/IP protocol in addition, it can obtain a multipointconnection order according to the IP address and physical serial number of eachnode’s. It design a PC software for distributed cable telemetry seismic explorationsystem which has more advantages including good performance, high executionefficiency, reliable operation in field work, in addition, it can realize the recycling anddisplay for seismic exploration data, line management, set up the parameters ofexploration system, test the system.Conducting the indoor function indexes test for the prototype of cross-station,which verified the correctness of self-made cross-station unit prototype design by theresults. Running test of Linux system, FPGA acquisition module conducted sine waveand short acquisition tests, FPGA trigger control circuit tests which got the desiredeffect. By setting up two lines of exploration in the lab which is in alignment testswith PC software, which realized the allocation of IP address by dynamic andestablishment for routing table of each node, and make the seismograph host interactwith each collection-station command and data transmission. We test thecommunication speed of the system and channel capacity station of the cross-station,test results shows that the cross-station can increase the ability to track for a singleseismic line and meet the need of the host data uploading for dual Ethernet ports.
