The Xulaojiugou Pb-Zn deposit located in located in the Xing Meng orogenic zonein the East, Xiao Hinggan Ling zhangguangcailing metallogenic belt Yichun oreconcentration area, which belongs to the medium scale Pb Zn deposit. The districtexperienced Xingmeng orogenic, paleo Asian Ocean tectonic domain and the subductionof the Pacific plate superposition, complex geological processes make the area amolybdenum ore, lead-zinc metallogenic ore concentration area.The exposed strata in the mining area is composed of the Lower Permian Yuquangroup marble. The intrusive rock in the mining area contains porphyritic biotiteplagioclase granite porphyry, quartz porphyry, fine grained granite, granite magmaticcontamination, and granite-aplite, granite porphyry and dioritic porphyrite.The orebodies mainly occurred within interlamination skarn and skarn in contactzone, secondly are skarnized hornstone and skarnized marble as straitform and vein type.There are10orebodies in the mining area, and10main orebodies and57subordinateorebodies. The67orebodies contain Pb, Zn, Mo, Wo, Sn and Cu. The minority orebodiesexposed in the mining area, and majority are blind orebodies. The length of orebody isrange from50m to200m, and the most longest is650m. The horizontal thickness oforebody is range from2m to3m, and the most thickness is40.10m. The extend oforebody is range from50m to200m, the most deepest is505m.According to texture and structure of ore, the type of ore is divided intodisseminated type ore, disseminated-veinlet type ore, veinlet type ore, disseminated-blocktype and block ore. According to degree of oxidation, the type of ore is composed of primary ore and oxidation ore. Accroding to lithology, the type of roe contains skran typeore, skarnize marble type ore and skarnized hornstone type ore.The major and rare earth elements in the mining area show that granitic body belongto quasi-aluminous rock and alkaline series rock. The rare earth element show thatevolutionart trend of right deviation with enrichment of light rare earth elements andnegative anomaly of Eu.The isotope of S and Pb show that metallogenic material Pb and Zn derived fromstrata, and S from magmatic hydrothermal. The fluid inclusion show that metallogenicdepth of Xulaojiugou Pb Zn deposit is range from1.5km to3km, belong to middle depth.The outstanding feature of metallogenic depth contain:①magma with prophritic-liketexture. Plagioclase with zonal structure. Quartz with corrosion.②The mineral associationcontain wollastonite, idocrase and andradite.③The extend of mineral is big. Themetallogenic tempreture is belong to medium-high temperature.The genesis of deposit is belong to skarn poly-metallic deposit with characterisiticof interlamination. The metallogenic setting of Xulaojiugou Pb Zn deposit is closelyassociated with cohere between Jiamusi Massif and Songnen Massif in the Early-MiddleJurrasic, and subduction of Pacific Plate.
