As a large, world advanced level, public welfare projects organized by ChinaGeological Survey Bureau, geological survey of multi-target area has been developedalong with the world’s advanced analysis technologies. Base on the multi-elementanalysis results, many useful information can be obtained. The regional geochemicaldata, for example, is the basis for the investigation and evaluation, which can serve awide range such as resources, environment, agriculture, urban, ecology, tourism, engineering, security and other fields, while provide a scientific materials forgovernment decision-making planning for sustainable social and economicdevelopment services. As an important part of the project, the sample analysismethods provide basic data for the entire survey, and the analysis methods are alsoneeded, covering a wide range of content. To reflect the geochemical backgroundobjectively, more work shall we do to improve the detection limit, quality, accuracy, and repeatability, and the reported rates were to reach100%,90%,90%. Such acomplex and systematic work, which can not completed by one method or oneinstrument, needs a strong technical group with variety of methods, instruments andtheir combinations, strict management. Only in this way can we get the analysisresults according to the requirement of China Geological Survey Bureau,Base on the current development level of inorganic analytical techniques andanalysis requirements, the purpose of this work is to achieve a series goals to meet themulti-samples and1:200000Geological Survey,1:50000sweep surfacegeochemical samples41primary, secondary volume and analysis of trace elements ingeochemical samples. Many analysis instruments, such as automatic sequential scanX--ray fluorescence spectrometer (XRF), Inductively Coupled Plasma Full SpectrumDirect Reading Spectrometer (ICP-OES), inductively coupled plasma massspectrometry (ICP-MS), are applied in this work with satisfied results, sensitivity, efficiencies and lower costs. After the implementation of this work, design moreadvanced, scientific, staff do not increase work efficiency increased54percent,41.33percent cost saved, compared with the original analysis plan. This method can alsoprovide more choices to analyze geological samples daily, enriching the soil samplesinformation for various related researchers. Base on the result of592national standardreference materials, this work provide wonderful information with best accuracy, according to the standards from the geology and mineral industry of " Mult-purpose regional geochemical survey specification"(DD2005-01). The fact confirmed that theproposed method can applied to the determination of41elements in geologicalsamples. Meanwhile, this work can also applied in ordinary sample analysis andprovide more choices for researchers in many other areas.
