With the development of satellite remote sensing technology, remote sensing data is growing more and more and their spatial resolution has also formed a nested hierarchy system that provides rich data sources for remote sensing survey of regional geological environment in different scale. To give the advantages of the satellite remotes sensing technology full play in regional geological environment survey, the paper relies on the project that issued by China Geological Survey named"the Application Model of Multi-type and Multi-scale Remote Sensing Technique in Regional Geological Environment Survey"to carry out the data analysis and applied research in remote sensing survey of regional geological environment in 1:250000,1:100000,1:50000 scale that using ETM, ASTER, CBERS-02, IRS-P6, SPOT-5 and ALOS data, taking quaternary geology division, geological disasters (landslide, debris),land desertification and river, lake, wetland as examples. The paper mainly achieves the following research results:1,Made a Systemic carding on common satellite data of current regional geological Environment Survey, including TM/ETM,ASTER,CBERS-01/02,IRS-P6,ALOS,SPOT-4/5,IKONOS and QUICKBIRD;2,Compared and analyzed the parameters index of ETM,ASTER,CBERS-02,IRS-P6,SPOT-5,ALOS;determined the different mapping scale of the six data source by analyzing the adaptability between spatial resolution and mapping scale;3,Determined the different fusion method of different thematic information by comparing and analyzing the effect of HSV, PCA, Gram-Schmidt, Brovey and wavelet;4,Compared and analyzed the interpretation effect of different data in regional geological environment remote sensing survey in different mapping scale, and established the application model on the basis of this.
