Spectral analysis is one of the most widely used and powerful functional modern analysisand testing technology. As providing comprehensive substance information with minimalsample loss, it has always played an important part in the field of mining industry, geologyand geomorphology, industrial machinery, petrochemical industry, even medicine security.This paper introduces the basic principles of spectroscopy instruments and the history ofthe foundation, having a detailed research of weak fluorescence acquisition and dataprocessing method by the independent design fluorescence spectrophotometer, and accordingto the actual needs, design a spectral analysis software the overall framework of each modulefunctions.The first part of this paper describes the design of the hardware platform spectroscopyinstruments, including embedded chips and embedded operating systems, communicationinterfaces, signal conditioning circuit design, digital-analog conversion circuit design and soon. Analysis of diffraction grating aberrations of the imaging system, simulated and improvedby Zemax. At the same time, analyze the spectral error causes from the circuit, optical andmechanical. It also contains data transmission system based on simple TCP/IP protocol, andrealizes data transmission system based on Web browser. The analysis software of personalcomputer includes electromechanical controlling, file operation, data processing, usermanagement. The software is concise, easy to use, and with good interaction.Operating wavelengths range is200nm to700nm, based on a concave diffraction gratingimaging system, it is capable of multi-modal spectrums measuring, and the results afterspectra processing could be used in both qualitative and quantitative analysis. The system isfully consistent with the design requirements.
