This study is based on the analysis of the geothermal geological data in theSuligemiao area. Several methods, such as geothermal geological investigation,geothermal drilling, hydrochemical analysis and so on, have been used to examine thegeothermal structure and the causes of heat source and formation of the tectoniccondition, heat reservoir formation in the Suligemiao area. The range of geothermalanomaly area is roughly delineated and the foundation of a conceptual thermal storagemodel is built.The study identified preliminarily burial and distribution characteristics of heatreservoir and geothermal geological condition near Suligemiao,evaluatingexploitation and utilization prospects of geothermal field.The study area is located in the Suligemiao area. The scope of the geograpHicalcoordinates: east longitude108°10′50″~108°28′21″, north latitude38°29′33″~38°39′41″.Implemented at a geothermal well. Main heat reservoir is the Jurassic sandstone,thebottom hole temperature is46℃, the water inflow is1328.12m3/d, the outlet watertemperature of35.5℃.According to the calculation method of heat reservoir thermal storage is5.98x1013(kJ), quantity of geothermal resources could be mined is2.18x1012(kJ).This study uses water quality analysis data to evaluate the quality of the geothermal fluid inthe respect of medical mineral water, drinking water and industrial water. Total dissolved solidsare2329.85mg/L, SO4-Na type water. Strontium in water reach to the drinkingmineral water standard, also containing bromide and other chemical componentswhich are beneficial to the human body, can be used for medical care, bath.The success of the geothermal project in the study area, will lead thedevelopment of desert tourism in the region,for the development and utilization ofgeothermal resources in the region and water resources development provides thebasic data.
