Based on the Jiusuo Pb-Zn mining exploration as the foundation of this thesis, itdiscussed the practical application of IP Method in the exploration of lead-zinc ore.According to the result of preliminary geochemical and geological survey, bystudying the geophysical work to verify and evaluate the anomaly, On the maingeochemical anomalies of exploration areas geophysical verification and preliminaryevaluation, provide direction for the deep and periphery prospecting in the future.According to the distribution rule of the ρs which represents apparent resistivityand the ηs which represents apparent chargeability anomaly, compared with thegeology condition and geochemical data, from known to unknown, from surface tothe deep ground to doing the comprehensive explanation, we circle two apparentresistivity belts, they are Dηs1、Dρs2, three apparent chargeability belts, they areDηs1、Dηs2、Dηs3, Dηs1、Dηs2belong to Section one and Dηs3belongs to Sectiontwo.Based on analyzing the comprehensive apparent resistivity, apparentchargeability, geochemistry and geological data, we deduced that the Line05to Line37in Section one of north where the Low resistivity zone Dηs1and the chargeabilityanomaly Dηs1were caused by quartz silicified alteration belt q1, we inferred thatthere is quartz vein-type nonferrous metal mineralization; the west of Dηs1could beconnected with porphyry-type mineralization; Dηs2lies in the quartz silicifiedalteration belt q2, probably caused by the vein-type Pb-Zn ore. The middle SectionTwo Dρs2maybe related in high-resistivity vein, Dηs3anomaly is the same with theMo, Pb anomaly, which is more favorable for quartz vein-type nonferrous metalmineralization.According to the above analysis,the geophysical section divided into threeprospecting pre study area, there are A-1, A-2and A-3. A-1is based on the Dηs1andthe east of Dηs1, including Pb、Zn、Ag、Mo elements concentration center and the areais about0.5square kilometers, predicting that would be quartz vein-type nonferrousmetal prospecting area; A-2is based on the west of Dηs1and the area is about0.2square kilometers, predicting that would be porphyry-type nonferrous metalprospecting area; A-3is based on Dηs3, including Pb、Mo elements concentration center and the area is about0.13square kilometers. Through the analysis we couldfind out A-1and A-3are more favorable for the quartz vein-type ore, while the A-2area is more favorable for porphyry-type ore.Practice proves that the induced polarization method in this study the explorationeffect is good, has reached the expected goal.
