In recent years, with the improvement of seismic data and the continuous improvement of the technology and methods, ordovician buried hill reservoir fine interpretation research and insider reservoir description has become possible. Buried hill fracture reservoir has break through, the deployment of drilling Caoqiao buried hill’s success further illustrate great exploration potential in eastern Dongying sag. Therefore, using ordovician buried hill oil field Caoqiao palaeozoic group exploration in Dongying depression as a breakthrough point to open the situation is very necessary. The unsolved problems mainly include the following aspects:Caoqiao buried hill belt in Dongying depression has a trend of continuous oil, but high structure characteristics of the buried hill is not clear; On the preliminary exploration of buried hill structure just concentrate on the analysis of characteristics of regional structure, rather than on high bump buried hill structure characteristics of the whole research, this is bound to have a limit on the structure characteristics of the overall study of buried hill, however it’s difficult to compare with stratigraphic buried hill; Caoqiao buried hill of ordovician reported only in the western reserviors, the rest of the exploration degree is low. The formation of lean oilfield drilled in oil reservoir, which shows the complexity of the buried hill belt oil-bearing series, so how to compare and have a stratigraphic division on the ordovician, the Cambrian and sinian system is particularly important. Buried hill reservoir characteristics is not clear, and buried hill next to the average porosity of weathering crust is a very important parameter in buried hill physical properties, so how to use the existing technology of geophysical exploration of buried hill reservoir property prediction is an important problem. Buried hill reservoir forming patterns are not clear, high buried hill reservoir fault should have weathered crust and layered fault reservoir types, different patterns of the exploration has different exploration and considering method, thus determine reservoir forming model to different patterns and different region is another important problem. To solving the problems above, the corresponding solutions mainly including:(1) High structure characteristics of the buried hill research:a study on tectonic evolution Caoqiao buried hill in Dongying sag, which determine the structure of the upper Paleozoic in vertical buried hills. And structure map was carried out to determine the upper Paleozoic buried hills in research area.(2) On the basis of formation contrast and fine structure interpretation with drilling and seismic data, the border of ordovician, Cambrian and sinian system can be determined.(3) Reservoir prediction technology researching:using existing drilling and logging data of GuangRao buried hill with its important parameters such as porosity, permeability, well established relationship, pre-stack time migration of seismic data in seismic attributes, the favorable zones of reservoir distribution can be determined. (4) The establishment of the reservoir pattern:with drilling, well logging and mud logging data and seismic data as the foundation, we can have a research on petroleum condition, ensure the control factors of buried hill reservoir and establish reservoir pattern in different buried hill zone.(5) Exploration comprehensive evaluation:with the evaluation on GuangRao buried hill zone, we can ensure the favorable distribution characteristics, carry out the favorable exploration zones, reserving scale and describe the favorable exploration targets.Through the above research, we have a detailed and solid research on structure and accumulation of the Caoqiao buried hill zone, accumulated a lot of experience in exploration of buried hill and enriched the continental fault basin compound theory of oil and gas exploration. Using for reference on Dongying sag and Jiyang sag of the buried hill reservoir exploration, which will have a certain theoretical and practical value.
